My whole family has enjoyed  riding the Razor E300S electric scooter. The other day, Laura,(my wife), and I were trying to determine all the benefits kids get from riding electric scooters. We thought it would make for an informative blog post.

Reason#1 Riding a Razor E300S electric scooter gets them out of the house. It seems like kids today spend all their time in the house, glued to their computers. Not very healthy or sociable. Riding a scooter is a great way to diversify their activities. The key is to get them to try it the first time.

Reason#2 Gives kids an opportunity to be more sociable. This ties in nicely with reason#1. Sitting in front of a computer certainly doesn’t nurture any interpersonal skills. Riding a scooter is a great way to meet neighbors and become a part of the neighborhood community.

Reason #3 It’s a fun, constructive activity. What ever happened to good old fashioned fun? Riding a scooter with the wind blowing through your hair is a blast! Zipping around the neighborhood gives your child a great sense of freedom and independence.

Reason #4 Riding a Razor E300S gives kids a respect for motor vehicles at a young age. The Razor E300S is not exactly a Corvette, but rest assured it IS a motorized vehicle. Kids have to learn basic rules of the “road”, and adhere to safe driving practices. These are skills that will serve them well later in life.

Reason #5 It’s fast, but safe. Kids won’t get bored. Listen, 15 m.ph. on an electric scooter FEELS fast! Yet, for young teenagers it is perfectly safe. Kids at that age need adequate speed to stay stimulated.

Reason #6 The Razor E300S electric scooter is easy to take care of. Basically, all you need to do is keep it adequately charged, and you are good to go.

Reason #7 With a weight capacity of 220lbs, and a large deck, kids are unlikely to “grow” out of the Razor E300S. Heck, I weigh 190 lbs and I can scoot around with the best of them! Several of our adult friends LOVE to ride Razor scooters, just as much as their kids.
