Razor EcoSmart Review
It really is the perfect scooter for everyday tasks and for that reason it is beloved all around the globe.
It almost resembles the look of a bicycle in some ways, though I would say that this EcoSmart is much faster and more fun to ride than your typical bike! I ride this thing as often as I can and if I could just wish one more thing from it, it would be to not have to charge up so often.
Nevertheless, I still love my EcoSmart even if I usually get only about an hour of continuous run time. It’s never going to be not fun for me to take a leisurely stroll in the town on my Razor EcoSmart
I really had big expectations of this scooter before I had bought it mostly because of the positive reviews I’ve read all over the internet. I knew that I wasn’t going to be getting something average with this purchase, so naturally I wasn’t that shocked.
The only thing I can say that really surprised me was the smoothness of the ride. Just how driving in a Tesla car feels like a spaceship when compared to regular cars, riding on an electric Razor scooter feels like gliding on a hoverboard when compared to regular scooters or bikes.
On most flat grounds, you won’t feel a bump and that adds to the experience, I for one loved it and I think that you will too.
Other than that, the speed caught me off guard a bit as well. 20 mph is quite faster than what I had originally seen my kids reach at (see here) on their electric scooters so there’s that.
Oh, and the range is about 20 miles, so you should be able to ride continuously for an hour at top speeds before having to stop. That’s a lot of time and ground to cover for most day-to-day tasks. If you intend on using the EcoSmart for trips to places like the grocery store or the gym, you should be able to get there on a single charge no problem, and then some.
All in all, you get exactly what you are probably expecting with this electric scooter. A nice and smooth riding scooter that reaches 20 mph and gets you about an hour of ride time all for a fair price.
How Does It Work?
With this scooter, there will be some small assembly required. You can see by the image that it isn’t just a scooter in one piece. It may look complicated at first, but it really is not.
I got mine built in less than a half hour and I’m no engineer whiz.
Once built, you’ll want to plug it into a power source for about 3 – 4 hours to juice it up completely for the first time. You can also go less if you’re really excited about getting on it, but I usually like to wait the full wait time.
Then, you’re ready to rock and roll! Make sure you read the safety manual and use your common sense. Anytime you can reach speeds that high you want to be cautious.
Is This Scooter Worth The Price?
Let’s get something out of the way really quickly; this is an awesome electric scooter, I personally love it. If I just got to experience it in its full form without knowing the price, I’d say that its worth double of what it is listed for, so of course I think this scooter is worth the price! I really can recommend this scooter to most people who have intentions of using it for commuting purposes because that’s what it is perfect for!
