The Ezip 900 Electric Scooter Can Handle Riders up To 240 lbs!

With the addition of the Ezip 900 electric scooter to it’s product line, Currie Technologies expanded it’s market to include older children, and even adults!

The Ezip 900 is definitely a “hybrid” with features that lie between street legal scooters, and traditional “push” style electric scooters for kids.

Weighing approximately 70 lbs, it has signifficant “heft”, and a very solid feel. It definitely does not feel like a “toy”.

In fact, this solid construction and additional weight provides it with the ability to handle riders who weigh as much as 240lbs!

This represents the highest weight capacity of any none street legal scooter. Also, the handle bars are fully adjustable to the height of most adults, and taller children.

The Ezip 900 electric scooter generates 500W of power from a Alloy Finned DC Earth Magnet Motor. This power allows this direct chain driven electric scooter to “scoot” along at speeds up to 15 mph!

This particular model boasts an EV Rated SLA Type, 24V / 15AH Pack. The batteries will hold a charge for between 30-40 minutes depending on the size of the rider.

The problem with many electric scooters for kids is that the braking is labored and not crisp. Not so with the ezip 900,

which has  a front disc brake with power modulator and alloy brake inhibit lever. The braking is crisp and certain.
