I recently bought the Currie Technologies E  Zip E400 Electric Scooter for my family as kind of a “utility” vehicle.

In addition to my wife, I have a 13 year old son, and a 15 year old daughter.

Needless to say, they are too young to drive, and they don’t like riding their bikes.

Often times we find ourselves needing to run short errands, and either the car is not available, or we don’t want to use it for an errand which requires traveling a short distance.

Unlike many kids electric scooters, the E Zip E400 is large enough for most adults. It has a weight capacity of up to 240 lbs.  It features a removable, adjustable seat, which can fit all members of the family.  It is ultra sturdy, as it features a durable high tension steel frame and non-slip ABS resin deck.

2.)  It’s Fun And “Sporty” To Ride!

The Currie Technologies E Zip E400 Electric Scooter has a powerful, direct chain driven motor that produces 400 watts of power. Plenty enough to climb hills, and zip riders along at up to 15 mph! Also, we love the twist grip throttle, which is highly responsive and fun! This scooter stops on a dime due to front disc brakes.

3)  The E Zip E400 Is Comfortable To Ride

Thanks to a front suspension fork, and Currie low-profile 10-inch Street Slick tires, this heavy duty scooter handles the bumps in the road with ease and comfort! It also has an amazingly “cushy” and comfortable seat, which is quite welcomed on longer rides!

4) Excellent Batteries

It features a pair of 12 volt, fully re-chargeable batteries that allow for approximately 30 minutes of continuous use. The range is approximately 8 miles. The charger and tools are included with the scooter. It only takes 5-6 hours to re-charge the battery.
